So, I walked into a phonics class that I have at 10am today and the 3 little boys I have promptly told me to "shit" down. I keep meaning to yet again try and show them the difference between "sh" and "s" at the beginning of words, but it's just so damn funny everytime any of the kids say this that I just "shit" down and start laughing. I just can't seem to help it. They never have the simple "s" sound at the beginning of words in Korean. These words are written as an "s", but they always pronounce them as "sh". It's just an unwritten rule. They just know it. Meanwhile, in English they have no idea what they're saying and I just "shit" down chuckling everytime the kids in various classes tell me this.
